A New Moon in Aries, the first sign of the zodiac, marks the beginning of the turning of the astrological wheel again, and eclipse season.
This New Moon comes with a solar eclipse, you may have seen it last night in the US, so these next few days may feel particularly sensitive, exhausting or draining. When the Moon (which represents shadows, the past, the unconscious) moves in front of the sun (all that is illuminated, that which we see) it can mean that our past or our unconscious is blocking us from seeing what is truly there.
Take some time this next few days to give yourself the space to reflect on this. Is there something from your past you need to heal? Is there grief that you are avoiding? Is there anger you have not dealt with?
A new moon is a perfect time to make a change, to leave behind what no longer serves you and to call in some fresh, new energy. So, Kerry has pulled two cards for each element, one to guide you on what to release this lunation, and one to suggest changes to call in.

Ask for help. Ask for support, guidance, input, assistance. People are ready, willing and able to make a difference to you, and they just want to feel welcome in doing so. Asking for help is a short-cut to making yourself even more popular (weirdly), people love to feel valued enough to be asked. And you can use the input, truly you can. Don’t be alone, get help in.
What to release? The Magician
You might be experiencing a surge in confidence, or ego, or self belief about a talent, project or role that you really want to do… but now might not be the right time to go it alone. Don’t over-estimate your time, energy and resources, don’t bite off more than you chew, don’t over-commit. Be realistic. Scale back your promises. Make this all more ‘bite-size’ and see how you go.
